What exactly IS L.O.G. Team?

​

L.O.G. Leadership Team is a continuation program for students who have attended at least one L.O.G. retreat. With a focus on leadership, community, and faith formation, Team is a place to strengthen the relationships formed at L.O.G. while building self-confidence and practical skills. Students help prepare for and plan the upcoming retreat, work on projects together, hang out, and some youth even get the chance to prepare talks to give at the next L.O.G. weekend.

What is the commitment level for participating in L.O.G. Team?

​

L.O.G. Team members attend 7-9 weekly planning meetings on Sunday afternoons during the months leading up to the next retreat. On the retreat weekend, Team members have to come for the full weekend, and are expected to participate in retreat events and assist in running the retreat. Beyond that, Team is mostly about community!

Between L.O.G. retreats, we plan a number of off-season events that are all open to Team, as well as holiday

parties and other activities!

What are some of the benefits of coming back to do Team?

Team members get to know each other well over the course of our weekly prep meetings. We have devotionals given by the adult staff, do fun outings like going to Yogurtland, and have a Team overnight where we play games, worship, watch a movie, and have fun! If you like L.O.G., the sense of community that is built over the course of participating in Team is just like that, but better!

Do I get community service hours for Team?

​

Yes! You get hours for every Sunday meeting, as well as 8 hours per day for all three days of the retreat weekend!
